My minimalist makeup travel pouch in Italy

My minimalist makeup from 7”X3”x2” travel pouch. Many of SEASONING community knew that I love the challenge of packing the minimal makeup items yet creating variations of looks during the travel from snowy Hokkaido to hot Tuscany.   Let me share what I brought with me this summer in Tuscany and Florence.

1.       RMS powder blush – It has been my recent favorite powder blush!  Exceptionally nice color pigments, considering they use cleaner ingredients.  Very refined and sheen texture giving incredibly natural reflections (the founder Rosemary is a makeup artist who understands well the balance of pigments and texture).   I use it to enhance the sunkissed glow during travel.  Texture is very refined that I even use it as eyeshadow for some days.   I brought color shade “sangria” for my theme.

2.       Ilia serum concealer – to correct the dark undereye (to look awake after a few sleep-deprived nights during travel), which is also moisturizing not to emphasize dry lines. 

3.       RMS “un”coverup – to even out uneven skin tone, using light illusion without adding weight.  Sleek pot to travel with.

4.       RMS luminizer – I brought peach shade, to enhance bone dimension, while enhancing joyful glow (but without harm/damage from the sun)

5.       Ecobrow – brow wax

6.       Jillian Dempsey eyeliner – I brought burgundy shade, as it’s more relaxed than black for holiday but more interesting than brown.

7.       RMS mascara – I brought this which I think it is relatively non-smudging among the clean ingredient cosmetic brands(always the challenge!)     

8.       Aromatherapy roll – woodsy scent I discovered in Edinburgh

9.       1 RMS lipstick, 1 tinted lip balm and 1 lipliner- to create looks from casual hint of lip color to polished matte red lip.

Out of this travel pouch, I enjoyed touching up a bit myself quickly (2 kids to handle in the journey) for different themes from exploring the local’s best kept secret fashion/artisan area, visiting museums, staying in a cute farmhouse, to visiting a vineyard.  How do you pack your makeup pouch for travel?  Let’s talk about skincare/suncare during and after travel in our next posts.
